Thank You for supporting my election to the Santa Clara Unified School District Board of Education.  I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to take an active role in ensuring a quality education for all students in the Santa Clara Unified School District.  The real work has just begun.  I ask you to stay involved and be informed about what is going on in our district.  Do not hesitate to contact me via this website to share with me your thoughts on improving the future of our children and Santa Clara through education.

Gracias por apoyar mi elección a la Mesa Directiva del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Santa Clara. Es un honor para mi tener la oportunidad de servirles para asegurar una educación de calidad para todos los estudiantes en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Santa Clara. El verdadero trabajo comienza hoy.  Les pido que permanezcan informados acerca de lo que pasa en nuestro distrito. No falten de comunicarse conmigo a través de este sitio para compartir sus pensamientos acerca del mejoramiento del futuro de nuestros hijos y de Santa Clara a través de la educación.

     As the eldest son of parents who did not get past the third grade, I know the importance of an education.  As the father of three sons, ages 3, 5, and 7 years old, I understand the challenges parents face in finding a great school for their children.  Two of my sons are currently attending  Millikin Basics+ and my wife is a teacher at Wilcox High School, where she has taught in the math department for the last eleven years.  We moved to Santa Clara because this is a great place to live, work, and play.  We intend to raise our children in this wonderful city and continue sending them to Santa Clara Unified School District schools.  As you can see,  changes and decisions made by the district will directly affect my family.  I want to take part in making our school district the best for our entire community.  Help me make Santa Clara's good schools GREAT!  I would graciously accept your support.
